OUR PRAYER FOR PEACE

Harp music is often thought of as peaceful so the natural progression of that is the Harpists for Peace movement.

Every year, harpists all over the world get together and play music of their choice to highlight the need for peace in the world. There were five harpists, six, if you include Syrian composer Khalil Ghadri who plays the Arabian harp, and we played music specially composed by him which reflects on the conflict in his native Syria.
