The music band history

In 2007 Lidia was asked by the renowned Syrian violinist Mohamed Hamami to play with his Sharq Orchestra.

Their musical chemistry was immediately obvious when they began performing as a duo at concerts and for TV programmes. Shortly after, Mohamed’s brother Ayham, a talented Arabic singer and tambourine player, joined the duo and the Hamami trio was born.

Hamami’s Arabic music

Vibrant energy from this exciting trio ignites the audience and invites them into the experience, creating an atmosphere of joy and festivity. The unique fusion between Lidia and Mohamed brings magic to the stage, with the Arabic vocals and percussive rhythms forming an exotic oriental mood.

Perfect for Arabic and mixed weddings, and any event that requires a unique oriental touch that expresses the richly International and multi-cultural flavour of the UAE.

The trio can be extended to a four or five piece band by adding extra percussion and keys for a fuller sound guaranteed to keep guests on the dance floor.

Their repertoire includes songs written by Abdel Halim, Fairuz, Majda Al Roumi until Fadel Shaker, Jasmi and Amr Diab, as well as pieces written especially for the trio by renowned composers.
